- I have been the San Juan County Prosecuting Attorney since 1995. I am married to Marny Gaylord, an elementary school teacher on Orcas Island. We have two adult children who are off to college. Public service is the hallmark of our household I have a diverse job where there is never a dull moment. With a team of five lawyers, we handle all criminal cases, defense of civil case, prosecution of civil cases at the direction of the county council, contracts and ordinances, child support and also county coroner. For fun, I run with Coach Dahl, Clark Gilbert and anyone else who will head out on the roads or trail.
